Okay, generally speaking I like using youtube to find DIY sort of videos but I have gotten tired of seeing a million different “make up artists” on youtube explaining how you can look “just like Sha-Nay-Nay with their easy 5 minute video”. I know mentors say “write what you know” but if you don’t know shit maybe you should go learn something real and interesting rather than trying to spread around useless nonsense.
Generally speaking I oppose war. In modern times its waged by rich men for stupid reasons. I want our troops out of Iraq TODAY. I want our troops out of Afghanistan in 3 months. Everyone talks about how complex it is to move things and that’s why it takes so long to shut a war down. But that’s bullshit. Most of the gear we could leave behind and we could demolish so that it was nothing but steel. And to suppose that the military is interested in doing things in a financially efficient way is just stupid.
We could withdraw from both wars at the drop of a hat if Americans wanted it to happen. But they don’t give a fuck. They let our kids march off to war, muttering to themselves that it will make men of them and never thinking that they can’t have health insurance because we’re busy having kids be maimed by bombs ON OUR DIME and buying F-22s to fight people who use RPGs and AKs(the cheapest and shittiest of weapons in all things but reliability)
Anyhow, some peace group is asking for people to send postcards to Hiroshima to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the atomic bombing.

Here is my message:
Dear grandchildren of imperialistic fuckholes who treated our POWs like they were mangy dogs,
Fuck you. Fuck you and your stupid attempt at peace revival. Your country created an amazingly militaristic society in a very short period and had the absolute intention of taking over the entire world.
I deplore nuclear weapons and it is unfortunate that you are the only nation that has ever been subjected to them. But you should fully understand and respect that when you build a nation that is devoutly resistant to invasion that the only weapons left to a foe are nuclear ones. America fully understands that as all our enemies do. Only a fool would attempt to invade America as we have so many firearms in private hands that they would essentially face an army the size of China’s Army only infuriated and pissed off that you were there.
There is a risk of building fanaticism into your culture. When you worship your king as an emperor or when you believe that every man in every house has the right to a gun. Your fanaticism gives drive to people and lets them invest more energy than they normally would into your civic projects. But it also means that when your enemies attack they must be absolutely brutal in their attacks and women and children be damned.
I praise you for bringing up peace is this war stricken world. But to do so on the day when America ended the drive of a fiercely imperialistic nation supposes that America was wrong in this attack. If you truly believe in peace and not in politics or judging the actions of our grandfathers then you would have set this on another date. I suspect instead just that you want to drive more people to your museum or that you’re just nuts. Your grandparents were nuts when they attacked Pearl Harbor. It may just run in the genes.
But again and to be absolutely clear:
FUCK YOU
We didn’t want a war with you. It costs us millions of lives.
You picked a fight with a bigger dog and got your fucking ass kicked.
That’s a hard lesson, but you need to learn it. If America has taught nothing else in the last century it is that we WILL go to war with anyone for ANY reason(unfortunately they’re sometimes bullshit) and even if we don’t win we’ll rain down a level of hurt that should impede others from wanting to attract our interest.
And a last thought: It took 2 bombs for Japan to surrender. How many lives could Japan have saved by giving up face and admitting defeat? THAT is a place to focus peace efforts.
